In September 28th, the short term visitingclass of "one belt and one road" news cooperation Union (hereinafterreferred to as the "visiting class") was held in Beijing.
Thevisiting class is sponsored by the Information Office of the State Council andthe Secretariat of the "one belt and one way" press cooperation Union(the Ministry of foreign exchange and cooperation of people's daily) and theCommunication University of China. 50 senior editorial journalists from 46mainstream media from 26 countries in Latin America and Africa participated.
Thevisiting class, with the theme of "new era, new concept, new media and newtechnology", opened on September 16. Nearly half a month's study visits,the participants of the visiting class listened to the special lectures on thedevelopment achievements in various fields and the development trend of newmedia on the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China; went to thePeople's Daily and Xinhua News Agency and other central media units to deeplyunderstand the vigorous development of new media and artificial intelligence inChina; went to Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Guangdong and other places toconduct field interviews and research, to personally experience China'sstruggle against poverty. The unremitting efforts and fruitful results in thefields of ecological civilization, big data industry, urban planning,independent intellectual property rights, etc.
Andres Flores, a journalist on ArgentineAmerican TV Channel 24, is a member of the visiting class. In addition to hisjob as a TV reporter, he is also a well-known "internet star" inArgentina.
During the whole interview and researchactivities, Flores always took a video camera to shoot and accompanied bycommentary, and showed his experience in China to domestic netizens in realtime.
Flowers told China Economic Weekly that hewas most impressed by his in-depth interviews and investigations in mainlandChina during this period. "I'm the third time to come to China, but it'sthe first time I've had the chance to get out of a big city like Beijing andShanghai. "
Sucha real China has also spread to the whole world through Flores.
